This is a beautifully crafted neolithic flint spear head dating back to 4000 BCE. It was found in North Aftrica and its authenticity is unreservedly guaranteed
It is approximately 82mm long and 28mm wide, tapering to its point
It is mounted in an antiqued box frame (no glass cover) using gold-plated silver wire
The frame measures 167mm x 193mm. The sides are parallel (the photographs are slightly distorted due to perspective)
The reverse is fitted
with brass picture wire, ready to be hung
